Problem: Migrate static page site to responsive grid layout – improve the functionality for mobile devices and improve brand presentation.
Solution: Designed new responsive site framework and presentation elements. Managed the project as well as hiring and onboarding new augmenting staff and outside technology consultant. Created design system by auditing page and element types to simplify and eliminate redundancy. Added a UI kit for migrating content to new design. Tested new ui and functionality with users and monitored mvp launch. Developed new digital brand standards, guidelines and documentation for implementation.
Results: Delivered total re-design in less than 9 months. Improved the site features with continuous testing (a/b and user). What we delivered was a totally responsive and flexible framework that improved speed of discovery and delivery of new site features. Over all the site was much better (site performance) and led to reduced bounce and higher conversion post delivery
